yeah i got the same dual 4 and i dont know if you have heard of this or not? i found this box design they call it tline seems pretty promising to me

oh ok i kinda figured that i wasnt to sure b/c its never been explained to me. and hell yeah one lucky guess imma try it and see hopefully ill have the same results. quick question what kind of amp did you have running them and did you have dual 2 or 4?

thanx for the details on that. how did you come up with that size trial and error? also what is the technical term for "tuned" does it deal with the frequency responce of the sub?btw i have looked at the deffinitions of theise small paramiters and i understand most of it

yes pretty much im askin bout box design size ect and what he said bout rms and shit. so yes i dont give a fuck about the prefab it came with the subs when i traded for them. also the pic thing is my fb i guess its linked also 2.2 cuft per side or net volume?

also just to add i know its not a good thing to say but it is a pre fab box i would like to know what size of a box i should build

well it has no max so idk what it means i guess its true rms i hope anyways and box specs depth 17 1/8 w/1/2 recess on front and back width 32 hight 14 5/16 port hight 13 3/16 width 2 3/4 length 18 total 14 till 90 degree bend then another 4 after that also when the port bends the width changes to 1 3/4

ok i have two alpine type r 12s dual 4 and a audio pipe 1500.1 @ 1 ohm it says 1500w rms but there is no max w in the manual so idk also i have a ported box at 1.56 cf per side im not sure of the length it should be about 10-12 i know the port volume is 586.3125cin so i lokked at the specs from alpine and it calls for a .3 more per side and a L22xH12xW1.5 port and the piont im trying to get at is that i know some one else that has the same subs in a 15 box with 12 fronts on it and the lows are so much better he also has a lincoln town car i have a two door civic is it the box causing the drop off in lows or the car it self please let me know what yall think much appeicated fellow bass gurus
