  1. I guess that's the big difference with this build is I've followed along and watched as each step is done and the attention to the fine details and the placement of everything being thought out, the panels made to remove for easy bottle removal and system adjust and the cooling system for the amps is off the charts. I didn't get to see the step by step of the other people's builds and how they thought out the install. But still this is in a league of its own. Straight up!
  2. And Rockford fosgate is fools if they don't show case this on there page! Fuck the Soundlab, I wanna sit in and hear Steve's car!
  3. Steve, I'm relatively new to your forum and I'm as new as they come almost, when I became a member on your web page, you said "you don't do this for a living, it's your addiction", but man, I've checked out a lot of builds and this one just is in its own league, seriously. For someone that has a different career other than custom builds, this work is just incredible. Go ahead all you other guys, bash me, call me what you want, I don't give a shit, this build dwarfs anything I've seen thus far, ANYWHERE! My hats off Steve!
  4. So did you already tie into the cars audio wires to feed signal to the 3sixty.3? That's the key part I want to see how to do it.
  5. It is by far the most off the charts build I've seen of yours, aside from those ridiculous towers you built. Those are the sickest!
  6. So, were you able to test the sound before you built it all in? That would suck to do all that and then not be satisfied with the bass,
  7. Holly shit loads of wire batman! Dude, how the hell do you deal with all the wire? I struggle with just the basic wiring, but all the extra? How the hell?!!!!!!!
  8. I have a friend running a sax200.4, he's pushing a w7 12 and pioneer rev components and he says it pounds. More than enough power and 640 watts @4ohms bridged 2 channels to the w7, but I think w7's are dual 1.5 ohm so he's prolly getting more power than advertised. Those sundown amps take a beating and don't die.
  9. It's weird the stuff they do to quiet the parts down.lol a rattle patch? Well try it. If they posted it, it could be the problem. I have all data and it is a life saver when it comes to my car and truck. My gto has just been bullet proof for 112,000 miles. No nothing has gone wrong, knock on wood!
  10. I'm a mechanic and troubleshoot and fix garbage trucks for the #2 garbage company. I run into this kind of stuff everyday.
  11. The belts tend to sound like a clicking sound and do go away at higher rpm. The belt dressing or a spray bottle with soap and water in it will tell you if it's the belt. The soap and water will go away and the noise will come back, the belt dressing sometimes will quiet it up permanent or it will come back depending on the condition of the belts.
  12. Check the power steering fluid level. Sounds like a belt or the pump might be making noise. Go to the parts store and grab a can of belt dressing and while it's idling spray the belts. If it goes away, you found it. Sometimes the power steering pumps growl meaning low fluid or pump going bad. If you see fine silvery metal in the fluid, then that means the pumps on its way out.
  13. It looks fucking incredible Steve. I hope you video the install and set up of the 3sixty.3. I'm really interested in that piece. And your components. I've been thinking of changing up my components but not sure which brand would sound the best.
  14. New thermostat to. Put a straight edge on the deck surface when you get the heads off to make sure the deck is flat. Heads to.it blew for some reason. You'd have to get it way hot to warp enough to blow it.
  15. The lights are going to look great. Can't wait to see the finished product and I really want to see you tune the new 3sixty.3. Supposed to be the bar setter!
  16. Im with dog24fret, but rock on. Can't wait to see this thing expand is-f metal! That car aint gonna know what hit it when you fire that thing off in it. I have a feeling you'll find out how well it was or wasn't built when you do.
  17. Maybe some day you could start building and selling some of these enclosures with your woofers. Not that you have a lot of free time to do it but it would be cool to be able to buy this set up in a package.
  18. Your enclosure' are always ridiculously badass! I've read a lot of forums and seen a lot of pics of enclosures being built and none of them hold a candle to your well thought out and planned adventures. The round overs and the attention to detail is pretty incredible! Even JP's that he paid a ridiculous amount for doesn't come close to your enclosures that you make it seem like its no big deal! Its a true art and talent you have Steve!
  19. I have as you can see a 06 gto, I put a jvc arsenal single din indash video. The single din still flows with the dash plus you get an extra pocket to put your iPod in. It works out great. I put my phone in there also. Single dins aren't that bad.
