LMAO... good one sir.. good one.

  2. cool as shit to watch in slow motion! Its like you can see the woofers moving on the second shot of the candles.. Watching the flame go back and forth.
  3. where you using the same 40hz and 1k hz 0db tracks as you did a few years ago? or the one supplied with the DD-1? Its possiable that the tracks you used a few years ago, weren't true to what they were suppose to be. ( correct me if i'm wrong) also, Could the headunit slowly lose its preformance over time? ( i dont know honestly)
  4. Just to let everybody know, i took the alt to a shop that could do a load check on it ( load bank up to 800amps) and it tested out PERFECT!!!. Had them clean the case up and it is working beautiful in my car. Thanks again jason.
  5. here ya go Steve. got a bottle of tequila that's about 24 years old (give or take 2 years). 80 proof, never opened and worm on bottom still. growing up i always remembered seeing this bottle in my grandparents cabinets, usually way in the back behind the cereal. story behind it is my grandmother never believed that a worm can come in a tequila bottle so my grandpa and dad drove to either Mexico or Texas to get this. ( That's what i was always told) i just have it sitting in the cabinet. might open it one day to have a toast to old memory's to my grandpa. has Mexico liquor bottle molded on the bottom and the numbers 8 and 7 there under it.
  6. here is a vid i made before the trunk was sealed off.. * i did not use the original sound from the videos, my system ate and shit out the mic on the camera and sounded beyond "tolerable". so i deleted the sound and added the songs i used.*
  7. everything up under the hood in place where it should be. for now i am running a stock alt with the 2 optima yellow tops. at idle i have voltage drops but driving around, its nowhere bad. i usually stay at 13.6 volts. i give all demos at 2k RPM and just enjoy my system.
  8. here is the boxed sealed off from the trunk.. i have some cleaning up to do and i'll be replacing the bottem carpet since i got some foam on it. i made a cardboard backing to fit in and foamed over it. the applyed fiberglass resin over the foam to seal it off.
  9. if your wondering about the subs, they are 12 inch treo SSX subs. grossly under rated at 2000 watts RMS. ran the port through the rear deck. port measures out at 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 (outside specs) i made a cover to go under the rear deck lid cause i didnt like how it looked. i also resin'd the underside of the deck lid cover so it wasnt such a pieace of shit.. i'll be making a new custom one soon out of plywood. the cover also helps seal off the trunk. under the cover is alot of expandable foam here it is all done before i sealed off the trunk.
  10. i made my own buss bar. 1/8 steel plate. edges grinded down so they dont cut the wire jacket. these will be replaced this coming winter with alum buss bars made a fuse bracket that bolts to the power steering fluid resivor. painted it yellow to match the car. holds the 2 fuse holders for the 2 pos runs from front batt to second batt. and the 3rd one is for the alt. here is the amps. i have one on a rack i made on the side and the other amp is mounted on the sub box with rubber isolaters checking the Ohm load of the subs with some scrap wire
  11. 1/0 under the car, zip tied up out of the way. 2 runs of pos and neg from front battery to second battery final run of 1/0 under the hood and ready to be trimmed all 1/0 is soldered. over 30 1/0 soldering connections made checking for voltage lose. test fit on the second battery. i used expandable foam to hold the battery still in the battery box since it liked to slide around
  12. well this is long over due for a update. just been busy with college , wife and kiddo. that and bumpin the shit of my system. so here is some more pics. it is done minus mids and highs which will come this coming winter! here is the box after being built and resined. 1/0 being ran. second battery is behind the passenger seat.
  13. build log has been archived... dammit. was going to add the rest of the pictures to it finally

  14. the wattage chart from XS power says a D4700 and D4800 is good for 2000 watts as main battery and 3000 watts as a secondary battery. say you have 3000 watts ( overshooting), the XS battery would work as a secondary battery but if it was me, id get a D2400 or a D2700 and use it as a secondary. rather have too much then not enough
  15. Hey Steve got a small suggestion on that liquid cooling setup and it's cheap insurance incase it ever leaks. Run it as a hose inside a hose. 1/4 inside a 3/8 ( not actual size, just as reference) that way if fluid hose leaks some how the fluid isn't going every where. Cheap insurance . Really good build
  16. looks like the paper shredder that enron used hahaha lol
  17. bought a 270a alt from jason, great guy to work with. bought it a few months back and havent been able to install it yet, sent me a text a few days ago to check up on it n see how its going. what a great seller!!! would buy again from him without thinking twice.
  18. Just as title states. How do u reclock a Mechman alt? Its a 6g 270a alternator. I need to clock it 180 degrees
  19. Add me on Xbox. I'm usually on playing halo reach with the wife. She kinda sucks bit I do more then enough to make up for it. Edit : gamertag is boostin302
  20. Yes there dual 1 ohm subs. I need a final load of 2 ohm to the amp. So 2 dual 1ohm subs to a 2 ohm load on one amp. The amps are strapped so they need a 2ohm load
