very true it is. i think toyota is going to be the average daily driver car maker. they have no desire to make sports cars i wouldnt think, unless it is the scion division. they took away the celica which was cool back in the day with the turbo all trac, and the supra, and the xrs corolla, and anything that was remotely even considered fun or cool

the lfa was their sports car but its like a half a mil

it is a very capable platform. the car isnt about speed it is like a miata type vehicle it out handles most other cars on the road. now they are developing a turbo version or that is being thrown around. it holds a 2l boxer engine so throwing a 2.5l wrx or sti engine shouldnt be a problem

Lol your smoking crack rocks 1 I was on team earthquake I ran the dbxi's and 2phd10000's for 60 bucks they are worth it even for how crappy they are its a crap sub that can take some abuse but does not get loud for spl standers the motor is a single slug 2 inch vc little thing that could never move as much as that extrem high roll surrond they put on it just to make it look beefy I also put 2 7ks on a pair tens to my surprive they took the power just didn't do anything with but make heat and they suck asssssss in a sealed box just fyi they don't sound very well ether $$For 60 bucks to have noise in my car I would mess with them that's about it And a dvc sub or single vc sub is still one vc you don't have 2 coils you have 2 leads going to the same vc for more wireing options lol it has 2 2 inch coils that's funny My bad i ment a 2" vc on the dvc and 2.5" on the svc i hit the 2 twice. and to me they move more air than my type r's. They are decent subs not hey arent dc or anything but they are solid subs.

They are power hungry as in they need their rms to shine. The 12's are 500rms i just thought the 10" would be too. The hifonics would be solid, or even the onyx from mb quart(same company)

I run the old white wolf from rf, and some street wires both have lasted me 5 years and go great. so my vote is for either rf or streetwires. I use firefold and monoprice in my home theater setup.

other options are the american bass xd series, b stock skar audio in the skar section, and even look into maybe like jh said go for a good quality single 15. The american bass tnt 15 is a very solid woofer for right at 150 bucks as is the obsidian audio, and the skar is 170 b stock so those are things to consider.

I am about to run 3 dbxi 12's and selling my type r 12's. The dbxi get pretty damn loud and move a ton of air. They have a decent motor if you want to recone them. For that price I would snag them. For power look at audiopipe apsm 1300 if they are the dvc version since they are 500rms woofers. The single voice coil subs have a larger 2.5"vc where as the dvc have 2 2"vc. Then I would just build a new box since these subs like ported boxes but they can work in any design. That pioneer amp wont do much for these subs honestly they seem to be power hungry.

i am going to test it but in the pics he has it shows it lit up and hooked up. we will see waiting on him to get back to me.

Yeah this amp really does put out some power, but it has the blown channels and now that I am upgrading subs I am going to need all the power I can get.

Daf and dad series so these are made by the same people as my dragster. I just noticed that wow guess that dragster was better than I thought but with 2 blown channels its time to go.

Anyone have experience with them? Not the ppi audio art series but the audio art amps, the 240.4xe specifically. I found one locally that is mint for a great price, and my current 4 channel blows its a Dragster brand amp with 2 blown channels.

well the 25ft is actually 2 bucks a foot not 2.50 but yes the 17ft is cheapest.
