no i hated having to turn up the tweets just to hear anything over my subs, and i dont have the kind of money to do a system like steves where i have the best of both worlds,

Def. sq stuff, i used to have 2 re audio 15s with a hifonic 3200w in my isuzu rodeo, that was the end of my spl times... haha ive learned that listening to real music really loud can be very enjoyable, hahahaha im not gunna be competing or anything, just wanna be able to turn it up and rock out with hurtin my ears with the tweets, hahaha

Hey guys, My stuff camer in today at work, i dont have any pics yet but im totally pumped so i figured id fill you guys in on the project, i gt the mille165s for my fronts, and 3 high energy subs, and an audison 3.1k and a 50ft. roll of 1awg(got enuf to hook up my bros) and then my fuse holder and rcas and stuff, all audison connection... im still working n dynamating my truck, but its all going into my 88 mazda b=2200... im thinking of adding another 3.1k and another sub and running the front bi-wired amplified... so yea, ill have pics up asap...

shock sensor works good on a long harnes, that isnt tied down for a good length.. sounds good that you got everything working,

guys guys guys, you need to have a cross over for your tweeters, you cant just throw them into the doors along with a coax setof speakers. sellyou coaxs and buy a decent set of component speakers. they will come with the proper cross over, and you hook your speaker wire into your cross over then from the cross over to the mid and the tweet.the cross over tells the lower freq. to go to the woofer, and the higher ones to go to the tweeter. what your talking about is alot of work and it sound slike you dont have the experiance(no offense)... Hope that helps a little.,...

I know this may count as thread jacking but i didnt want to make another thread titled "DC Audio", Basically i havent been on the forums in a while, alwayus wanted to go with fi, however by thge sounds of it these dc sub are impressive, could someone lead me in the right direction as to where i can check out pics/ prices? here in guelph onatrio we got about 3 inches last night, suposed to be 15 by the time were done.... my beater let me down this morning, 95 dodge neon, hahaha

This sub was introduced to compete against kicker square sub. being square you get more cone area, however you loose loits of efficiency, bazooka tryed to claim that this sub being triangle is much more efficient, and it is. this isnt a spl sub by any means, but for the every day consumer this sub will give more output at 200wrms then alot of the circle or square subs around the same price point... my 2 cents,

just basic head lights, good idea, but cant think of anything that would draw enough power to significally change the output... and like i sadi i doubt its the alt or bat. because the cabin. head, or brake lights dont dim... we will check rca jacks, and pull the subs out if the problem still prevails.... the subs are dual 2 ohm voice coils, but use a junmpwer instead of 2 voicecoils... but maybe something came loose....

anybody noe why the amp would dim so much?? thats not an rca issue is it??the sound almost fades when it hu\its the 35hz and below tones...

Hey guys, I need HELP!!! Heres the low down, 2 - 12'' Alpine Type-X 1- Sundown KAZ 1500.1 2-Deep Cycle Batteries 1- Run of 1/0 Wire 1- Phoenix Gold Amp(for mids and highs) 1- Pioneer Headunit(mid Range Entry Level) 1- Big 3 Ok now the delema.. This morning it was pounding mint, no problems, this truck constantly hits 141, all day everyday. the truck sat at work for the day, and when i got in to go home the stereo was quiter. its still loud, but not wat it was, no window movement, not as much shaking, etc....my battery gauge doesnt move... when the lights are on, nothing dims, HOW EVER, when its crankd and the lights are dimming, the amp light dims.. I need help asaop i want to get this figured out... Thanx Guys!!!!

i gotta go with steve opn this one bro, however maybe with a little bit of glass work you could make the air flow more easily into that tube. both ends flared and the wall not so obstructive and that could be an awesome design.. god job bro....

and another thing i got a spot that looks like it should have a tweeter, but ther isnt a tweeter.... ill put it there and replace my 4s out back... anyone got suggestionson fairly cheap good speaks??

i had a 3way pioneer coaxial in the front, and 6x9s on my sub box in the back for a while, but it seemd they could keep up with the subs.... 2 10'' clarions.... and they were ampd by a small shitty sony.... i have a spot for a tweeter, but is a 5 1/2 mid driver and a tweeter gunna work good?? and about the back, are 4''s worth replacing???

Hey, it is a 2000 isuzu rodeo.... i am good with glass work, but the way these door panels are designed is very stupid... ill try to get some pics up, its hard to explain...and there isnt enough room to glass a 6 ontop of the wheel hump by your feet...the speaker mounts to the panel itself, not the door... then there is a odd shaped cover ontop of it... i was just wondering if replecing my stock 5 1/2s and 4s on amps will be anough... or will i be un happy... i plan on runing 2 18'' fi bls, with about 3000wrms, so i want something that can keep up....

Alright, Well it seemed to have dawned on me that iu have no idea what to do about my mids and highs... i noe enough about subs and what not, the lower end, but when it comes to mids and highs for my truck i am lost... my stock speaks are 5 1/2 in the front and out back are 4''.... this isnt much for my truck.... i have a spot that would fit a tweeter up front perfect also... im just wondering if i should just replace my stock speaks with something good, ... or go out on a limb and customize my panels to fit 6'' mid bas then tweeters on top.... any help woul dbe appreciated!!!
