Same, I just started thinking of when 1440p 16:9 was just comming out about a year ago. Every monitor was at or over $1k, now they are at $400-$600. I think I'll just wait it out.

Seen it, preferred the resolution. Not saying it's bad, but with being able to have both options and still have them both done well is still not quiet done yet. I also do CAD renderings and other desktop applications of the sort and having the real-estate helps a lot. I wish I had never gone back to 1080p.

Yes, Steve's GPUs and CPU are on a loop. Just check out his build log I posted. I'm thinking of a good 4k monitor, I would just need to get another 280x to go with it. I might stick it out and save up for one or I might bite the bullet and just go 1440p. It just depends on how I like the monitor I ordered for my friend's build.

I have the smaller capacity of your ssd and your cpu is good along with the guy. I would say medium settings and watch the AA and the AF.

I would strongly recommend a SSD. But you should be able to play it fine. Better internet than me too. Edit: I clicked on what you labeled HDD and saw it was the SSD that I use with more capacity.

Do it, they are cheap now It is a must have for any system now.

This is the type of gameplay I like in ARMA 3. If I can get enough people I try to make my own missions, I made a few back when I was in a clan last summer.

Try not to send it too much power. Even though you are going to wire to 2-ohms it doesnt state the 2-ohm wattage on their site, and IIRC it does close to 3k for 1-ohm (someone correct me if wrong, I don't follow SQ). This means that you may have quite a bit extra power for that 1k RMS sub.

I've had it since the pre-alpha or the alpha. I have loved playing it. The community basically makes every game type and map. If you get the money for the game I strongly recommend it.

Well, I'm not going try and bring down sundown or anything, because I do respect them a lot. However, I don't believe in the port per cube. I go the route of port velocity and determining how much air is being moved and keeping it going under a controllable velocity, which with modern subs equates to some very large port per cubes. This is a quick calculator to get you in the right direction. http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 This will lower air velocity, but you are still going to be moving a hell of a lot of air, especially if you tune low. Also, if there is someone reading this that knows a lot more about moving air than I, then speak up. I'm a SQ guy that knows a little about aerodynamics.

Well, you got the low tune right, but what size sub is it? The port area looks low. Given a lower port area will increase the velocity, but I still don't feel conformable with it. Edit: you probably want at least one extra baffle and you need to account for sub displacement.

I couldn't even find this model. Also I noticed in the pictures the EQ was at -12 dB. Would like to know if that was consistent with the testing. Edit: I see your sonic post now.
