The salesman at the dealership said that he thought the guy that traded it in said it was a b & m. however this same salesman had no idea what torque was so who knows if thats actually what it is. For now i think ill just get some good brackets like you suggested and not drive it so hard until i can get money to do the stuff you suggested earlier. i dont like lanzar at all. my friend had a lanzar amp about a year ago. he ran 1 twelve of it at 2 ohms, gains set halfway. the thing would just randomly shut off all the time, stay off for long periods of time, randomly come back on, then eventually bout 3 months later it shut off and never came back on. I would go with Power Acoustik i have used a couple of thier amps and i liked em.

Thanks!!!! this has helped me alot.... the mechanics around here just keep saying that its defective mounts or one of them they thought was cause i bottomed out really hard on a speed bump.. i never really believed that i coulda had 4 defective parts in a row...unfortunatley the shift kit was on the car when i bought it. otherwise there would not be one in the car. i always kinda figured it was the shift kit but after puttin money into fixing tranny mounts i never really had the money to get it removed. would just removing the shift kit till i get money to do the other stuff help? or should i just leave it in till i can do all of it?

had this episode on dvr and just watched it again today. was it just me or did they meter the subs from the back standing outside the car with the doors open???

Well i have had my Camaro Z28 for almost a year now. in that year period my egr has gone out 3 times and i have broke my tranny mount 5 times. i have perfomance parts on the car 1 of which is a shift kit. Any one know what the problems could be caused by????

Becuse i wanna push around 1500-1800 rms through each sub and the only way to do it with rockford would be with 2 T2001bd's or a T40001db and and those are double my price range.

ya, idk for sure that im gonna end up keeping it but i figure if its a good working amp i should atleast be able to get what i paid for it if i decide to sell it.

Alright well i think im going to go with the power acoustiks or the pca3500d. I really like the looks of that keenwood amp for some reason but i think 1200 watts is gonna be a little short on power. oh well i would rather have something that works good vs. something that looks cool though

i found a guy thats selling a goliath for $500. he says it was mounted on a wall at a stereo shop and sat there for bout a year but was never played. supposivly the only thing wrong with it is that one of the endcaps are "dented". Im going to go look at it probably within the next couple days and make sure it works and everything. I know this amp is $1800 on sonicelectronix.com so if it works it sounds like a good deal. if it does, is this a fairly decent amp? what kinda of wattage will this thing actually put out?

anyone have any suggestions for a amp(s) that will put out 3000-4000 watts and around $500. It could be 2 amps that add up to this wattage also i dont really care but again around the $500

im about to drop 2 18" fully loaded BL's in my camaro. Ive been lookin for a amp to run these for a while. im on a budget so i cant go rockford like i wish. i came across a good deal on a Soundstream PCA3500D and just lookin for any input on this amp?

Thats exactly what i was thinking. With 2 22" subs and the possibility of 12000 rms they should be louder no matter how bad they suck. They had to have underpowered them or really messed up the box. Maybe mtv had something to do with it like with the editing since they cut stuff outta scenes and put stuff in, maybe they took a scene of it gettin metered befor it was tuned or something?????? idk not backing pimp my ride or the jackhammers up just think its a little odd they only hit a 136.
