i did try it, it didnt sound that good. for some reason it hits way harder in the trunk

id go with the 15 my cousin has 1 9500 15 in his grand marque it sounds good, we also both have our back deck cut out. that made a huge difference.

i would talk him into going with a 15. unless you know of a bad ass 12. i went through 2 12 7500 mtx with 2 ta7801 then 2 8500 12s,2 alpine type r 12s 2 audiobahn aw1208t 12s with a hcx2300, all in custom boxes and they would not hit at all . my alpines hit hard now i has 1 ta7801 it was doing ok then i got jacked and bought 2 more type r 15s and just put my audiobahn back.

thanks i had some help from a friend also, so if i put it in the back should i still fire back?or front? im working on getting a suv. it hits pretty good for a trunk system but nothing like a hatch or suv. i put them in my buddys 98 explorer and holly hell it hit hard.

ok i built a box for my 15s. subs and port firing back. the port and subs are like 7 or 8 inches from the back of the trunk will it sound good if i take out the back seat and put the box in there? i know most of you are going to say just build a wall. but right now i cant. i use the back seats sometimes until i buy a 3rd vehicle. and get better subs and amp

i was trying to type fast. i replaced it and it works fine now . so i shouldn't put the power from the fan to the remote on the amp?

i ran the remote wire from the hu to my amp is there a different way of doing it? or is this going over my head?

the only thing rattling is the bumper cover well and the trunk lid but thats imposable to stop. i listened for hours trying to find it and then when i took it off the rattle was almost completely gone. when i put it back on it was back :mad:

my amp was cutting out so i decided to go through the wiring i noticed that the remote wire had a cut in it and was touching metal in my car so i replaced. i also added a 12volt fan to it. it and drove around for a while and it docent cut out. now my next question before i had my subs firing up and port back i got rid of most of the rattle with a cascade kit (dynamat) now with subs and port back it is making my back bumper rattle very bad. someone told me to pour resin in the bumper cover is that a good idea? or can i take it off and put dynamat in the bumper cover and stop it? here is a video http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii134/9...nt=MOV00397.flv

i think i fixed the problem i was looking and found that the plastic on my remote wire was tore and touching the metal in my trunk. i fixed and put a 12volt fan blowing on my amp and it hasn't cut out at all. here is a short vid of my new deck pioneer deh-6000ub let me know hoew it sounds my speakers on my computer took a crap on me i need to put more dynamat for some reason with the subs and port firing back it rattles more than when the subs were firing up and port back. i guess the tuning is a big factor to the old box was 34 hertz the new one is somewhere around 22 to 25 hertz

my amp will shut off then i turn off the hu for 10 seconds and turn it back on and it will play again.
