I think design 4 would be difficult and tuning would be a bit a challenge.. I think i'd go with 3, with port going into cabin and under the sub.

This is the same run off box design as #3, but with the Port on the face of the box with the sub, instead of below the sub.. I think i like the port running under the sub, I think it looks better and it looks less complicated of a build. lol..

How is the port design? should i put the port running under the sub? or should i do a port on the side of the sub? i'll draw up that design real quick..

This idea i think would be better cuz the port would be facing the cabin.. so i'd get both waves into the cabin... The angle is a little better than the #2 design.. but what you think? Of course my sketches aren't ACCURATE.. but its just the rough idea of what i'm thinking...

Those are 12's... I do have room to face the sub at the same angle the Type R's are.. But I would like the angle the box.. make a cooler, more original design.

I dont have a hatch.. here is my car setup.. i exagerated the angle.. but it will match the angle either of the rear seat.. or just angled enough so it will fit. I think i will have it angled a LOT less than that.. if anything I shoot the sub straight up... but that is the LAST resort for me.. =D Heres the Car.. I dont have the numbers yet, just sketchin out the approx. design layout. I have to measure out my trunk again and check with the specifications on the 15" Fi BL box dimensions. I'll start posting a few sketches I've done.. just give me few suggestions of which designs you like..

Wish I could get the 18" BL, but lack of $ and space is the hold up. lol.. I'll stick with 15" BL =D although, i dont know anyone with 18" sub around my area, so It would be a BIG thing to Brag about! lol. Yea, we'll prolly order around the same time! =D

I only got 15$ more bucks to go till i got my Fi BL... =D I am only using money i got in my paypal account which has nothing to do with my personal money, this is money I make selling stuff online (ebay)... but anyways, i got 15$ more to go and I can order my Fi BL. I have a feeling it could be a while cuz i got nothing to sell.. lol

That box is really going to sound nice!! I love looking at personal custom designs.. gives me many more options and ideas for my next build.

I'd say go ported! but hey, either way you'll still get a good bump in the trunk! =D Congrats on the SSD!! =D I think lots of people are upgrading to the Fi subs!! =D I think, as a fist time box builder, you could go sealed.. But really, its not difficult to build a ported box. Just look around the forums for simple ideas, and just run up the specs on it and stuff.. See.. I want the BL 18" but.... its pretty pricey, i could get the 15" BL for 280, i'd love to have an 18" i might even just save up for it! =D lol.. I hope you love your system man!! Cant wait!!! I'm excited for you too!!!
