50's are harder to pull at the headrest...even more difficult that sealed on the dash..my teamate pulls 153.4's at the head rest with a single 18 off of 6k. headrest metering likes the 32-40 hz range in most vehicles. unlike exploders the get loud at the head around 50hz

congrats man but if you want to gain that much db your talking about a new box the one you have now is not for spl...upgrade your electrical as well and deadner doesnt always help on the meter. extremes are not like explorers it takes alot more power time and tuning. my trunk did 44.9 on music with engine off meter at the headrest meca style. engine on and tones was a completely diff story.
