So you think i should change the tuning or leave it?

I have four level 3 tens my planes where 4 cubic feet tuned to 32HZ on 2400 watts rms... Well i built everything but top and i set the port in and measured it did the calculations well it turns out its 3.5 cubes and ended up being tuned to 34 hz... you guys think this will be a problem? the reason i think i miscalculate is i did the inside of the port for displacement instead of outside.. anyways without redoing the box (a)do you think i should just leave it (b)or rebuild port and extend it 4 inches outside the box to get the 32HZ tuning

OK grounded to frame and still does it he says.. It idles rough sometimes and i really think thats the reason its doing it.... anybody have any ideas?

cause if its a bad coil, wires, it can cause noise in the system.... Well did a frame ground now a little whine not much so far no ticking we will see when he drives home

My friend has a 95 blazer.. and occasionally there is ticking noise in the tweeters and sometimes the mids pop even when the rcas are unplugged doesn't do it when car is off ... we had 4 gauge power and ground we switched amps (didn't do it in car it came from) still did it.. changed ground to 0 gauge still does it.. ran speaker wires to different speakers still did it... changed coil, plugs, alternator, plug wires.. Any idea's also had 2 different ground spots cargo tie down bolt and backseat cover body bolt... any idea's..

Not alot of time to explain need sleep for work tonight but i received my subs today 2 seem fine but 1 the cone wont move and the other there is coil rub... theres damage to those 2 boxes ill post tomorrow.. how do we go about this am i suppose to call fed ex or does rusty.. just curios i need to go to bed so ill be back on tomorrow morning and ill post picks of the box damage.. thanks

i installed a 10 inch of that model followed the box for it on there site it sounded nice and got loud also.. so id figure look on there site and see what they reccommend

how was your truck totaled??? if the shop did it they have to pay for a new truck or give you the book price for it.... let your insurance company deal with them if they won't...... Anyways it cant be worse 1500 is what the cars worth lol and i paid that to get it half assed fixed lol

sorry to hear that it sucks.... i like this car and not sure what im going to do i can do the radiator myself but they are going to need it fixed before they can fix the idling problem grr not having a car sucks... and im going out of town sat and using my mothers van hopefully she can get a ride to work monday

Yeah picked it up today and right when i started it it almost stalled, So i go into the shop and tell them and he said it was fine when i drove it so he was like drive it for a day see what happens,I was like ok... On the way home almost stalled every time i stopped hmmm no brakes.... pulled into my driveway stalled and started to smoke ok it was steam the radiator stem freaking broke,, What the hell did they lean on it put something heavy on it???? So there picking it up tomorrow again.. to fix the idling problem.. Since i don't know if it was there fault or not ill pay for a new radiator not labor though so we will see... either way i think im going to look for a newer car..... or truck

ooppps sorry yeah valves is what bent... water pump i can do myself if they don't i at least know that much lol

it was the interfernce i think where its more costly of repairs than the other type.. 1500 i was quoted

So my car broke down... So i had it towed to a shop they call me the next day saying the timing belt broke and bent my rods.. Ok so they said it will be about a week waited waited waited... finally after 2 weeks i call them.. finishing it up now it will be done tomorrow they said... waited for the call the next day no call wtf??? so i waited until today to call them back 3 weeks since they had it.. Was told can't get it to idle right but we will have it done by tomorrow... so im going to call tomorrow and it better be fixed or im going to be bitching i held my tongue so far but enough is enough... i hope they are registered with the b.b.b, i better get some money off or something we will see /////rant

this is still going on?? lol i went through the album and only see the gasket warped the frame in your picks look fine..unless i missed one pic ill look again. im sure treo will send you a new gasket... wheres the pic of it mounted to a board havent seen that yet... are you scared to mount it ????? ok just looked again every pic that up that shows warpage or whatever you want to call it is the gasket big deal...... you still got a working sub for $70.. cosmetic flaw oh no..... i say beofore tooshort gets banned or whatvever take a pic of the sub mounted with and without the gasket so we can see if the frame is bent..... if the frame is not bent and its the gasket i think the guy complaining should get a vacation just my 2 cents and too short should get an apology... Shit ill refund your 70 pay you shippinh and insurance and ill take the sub

ok you made a video.... but didnt show the damage???? why ??? put the sub into a sub cutout and show everyone its bent (i took it as the mounting flange is what is bent) if its bent it wont sit flush with the wood

Oh and if i find my Download of the specs ill post em it was 3.5 cubes -5 cubes before displacement and 35 to 40 hz tuning the smaller the box was the 35 xz tuning i think can't remember i had mine 3.5 at 26hz and 4.5 at 33 liked them both 26hz a little better though .. and new box is going to be 4 at 28hz... oh was using a hifonics bxi2005d hopefully will be using either a mmats m2000.d or 3000.1d
