  1. the white plug with the yellow wire plugs into the black plug with the orange and black wire are in the other two plugs into the big black harness you bought as far as power usually the fuse box under the dash is for ignition power and the fuse box under the hood by the battery is for the constant 12 v power.. check all the fuses under the hood esp if orange wire has no power.
  2. those pillars are looking good glad burrito woke up hope he recovers quickly . are you going to paint the pillars or cover them.
  3. check the voltage at both batteries if they are ok thencheck the wiring at the deck usually if the battery is dead the radio should stay on and the amps will turn on and off.
  4. i have some of those 1ga to 4ga adapters they work good but like some one else said they are bulky depending how close the hot and ground are they may not work but the idea about stipping wire down and soldering the wire looks like a good idea.
  5. if you have a test light test the empty pins in the deck harness turn deck on and off to find the 12v out for turn on usually you will have another wire in harness not being used like a illumination on power antenna u can pull that extra wire out of harness and plug it into the remote turn on hole in harness then connect your amp to that or you can usually get a replacement harness for deck from a stereo shop.
