Nice work Steve! How I wish the internet would do it justice for sound, because I bet that whole system sounds amazing too. Where does that chrome looking carbon fiber trim around the window switches come from? Can your interior trim panel on the speakers match that switch trim as well? And are you using magnets to hold the speaker cover on?

I gave this little thing way to much credit. I expected more power. How do they get away with claiming 1,200 watts? Is there is no industry rating. Can you just stamp a number on anything? I'd like to see two things dyno'ed. Any head unit, and MTX brand amps! Like, this head unit can do 200W crystal clear for $40. I would have loved to see the Plasti-Dip version, but waiting 20 minutes for her to dry without time-lapse would be boring. A can of air, turned up-side down so it freezes her to -10F might have been fun ;-) Splat? Now that's a good result instantly!

Frosty AC! Nice! I still don't get why AC isn't standard on all cars. It robs, what, maybe 3 HP from a motor. And these cars make an abundance of HP at cruising speeds any way. It's worth the price for a little comfort. Good find Steve, good call too. Congrats to your son on his accomplishments.

I can imagine you mounting a little go-kart tire to it with an emectric motor! Those 9 batts have to make it a lead sled =)
