yes that will be nice an the BP power is this is what i read on Fi's site adds a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also add 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack. All of these new features increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application.

well i would say the SSD's are nice woofers an they are a great SQ woofer as im sure u know i would say SSD's with copper coil an BP power thats only cause i never delt with any alpine but see what others have to say who no alot more then i do about both woofers as far as i no there both pretty good but i like the SSD's
