  1. just finished the throw together of a system in a 2007 tahoe. guy bought my 4 DC AUDIO level4 15'5 and my 4 ROCKFORD FOSGATE T1500.1 . he brought the stuff to my shop for a box and install. he also purchased a deck and 2 sets of pioneer separates. (that cannot be heard when this thing starts wangin) a 4channel and 2 sets of x9's are in the near future. 2 hc2400's in the back and 1 hc1800 added under the hood in the aux battery location. so 4 batts total. all linked with 1/0 and a vid of some slappage name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">sound isnot to great from all the metal vibrations that im sure are audible, but trust me it moves some air(and i have the amps turned all the way down. i dont want him blowing the shit up the first week.
  2. i am in the middle of an install in the nw body style gm suv and i am very dissapointed with the construction (or lack of) that was used in he body structure. this shit sounds like some nasty ass i like the way my trunk rattles peice of shit scraper from 1973. the bass makes the roof sound(even on the inside) like im beating the side of a 30gallon galvanized trash can with a shovel. we will add some deadener tomorrow but holy shit i have never heard it this bad in a "non deadend" suv
  3. when are we gonna knock back a few again? happy birthday mang
  4. i always build mine like this....find your fs of the sub....start your tline at atleast 25% more square inches of area than the surface area of your driver....the end of the line will be the exact surface area of the driver(example...if a 10" speaker is 78.5 sq then add 25%min= 100sq") that is where the sub is placed and then the port...(the end of the line will be 78.5) now for the length of the line, use 25% of the fs so if yout sub has a 32hz resonant freq then make the line 8feet long. gradually taper the line down to the end with the last 20 inches the same as the port opening, for sq, pack in long strand wool at 16oz per cube, taper down till the last 18 inches. for spl leave empty.....pull out or add fiber till you acheive the sound that you want.
  5. i purchased some 4/0 from him and it just arrived today so he gets a 10/10 for prompt delivery and accurate description of item thanks
  6. just one 10 in that box. plays pretty flat from 30-50, peaks at 41 in the car but 30 and 50 are oly about 3-5 db behind and 20hz is 8 db behind
  7. that is what was playin in the car last time you saw me
  8. a couple of different 10" tlines that i built ended up just over 7 cubes each, amazing range and sq for the cone area. runs about 50% of the subs rec. rms well
  9. should have came out to laughlin that shit sounded cool what the fuck is a how
  10. it did alright, right now there is a single 10 in a t-line best burp is 137@41hz but it is very musical above 130 anywhere from 21-51hz

  12. yep 3cyl...3 groove belt, no squeel. cograts on the subs steve they look great
  13. it seems that there is alot of heresay that has surfaced on rule changes etc. something happened at world finals that sparked some issues. it seems that there was only a 30sec reset time between runs if there is a tie and no-one was informed, not even ALL of our judges. whay was there not notification. seems to be a breakdown in communication with was is to be expected. how are we to know if it is not published in the rulebook. it has been said that the basics are borrowed from db dag...5min recharge etc...what happened to that. all of us compettitors receive emails whenever there is a show happening anywhere in the world. would it be that difficult for Mr. Harris to do the same for something as important as an ammendment for the most important event of our year. rule need not be on a forum, that is what official rule books are for

  17. do we need to start a new thread for (speaker) snuff vids and then compile them on to one vid and sell sell sell
  18. interested in a biscuit joiner, i dont want garbage only strong shit. i think it could'nt hurt in box construction(especially butt-joints when there is no room to do multi-layers
  19. having to trailor the car to a show because of too much weight is why, ill be building a different vehical this year adding more cone area and twice the power, more alt and battery extra door speaks for a better front stage etc. wont be a wall, but still only a front seat dont worrry bro you will be one of the first people on my list to hear it when it goes boom
  20. car is gutted, sledge hammer and a vacumn made short work of that beast, ill have some daily (beat) installed but doubt it would do a 29. bbq trailor is still always a possibility
