Trâgîk
Ok guys so i read the recone Stickied thread and looks loke good info there and it gave me the idea of reconing my hdc3 12's to maybe duel 2 or 1.4 coils, what do you think? And i know dc has some subs that are 1.4 ohms would they work with my sub? I really dont want to buy a whole new sub or run my amPs at .5 ohm so i think reconing would be the most cost effective so i need your input on what will work and can take 3-4k Quote -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)

Trâgîk
Exactly!! I dont want to run half ohm but prefer 1 ohm so i need recones because it cheaper than buyin new subs plus they are still new. What recone can i use? AQ doesnt have a aluminum D2 recone so i need another brand that will work, ideas anyone? Trâgîk
why not use an AQ recone Because they dont have D2 aluminum coils. It might be pushing the limits of the copper for daily 3.5k a piece Quote -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)
Trâgîk
aq alum coils will take 3.5k all day. Your right but my problem is i need duel 2 coils. I would be running my amps at .5 ohms now, which is why i need to recone them to a differemt impedance....
