i was just watching twistedchild420's (the 3000 subscribers) video and noticed that his port is very close to his hatch. and i was just wondering if that is problem or if it doesnt matter. ive seen other videos with the same thing but never took the time to really wonder why. doesnt that stop air flow orrrr??

i think the general rule is to keep it as far away from the port as the width of your port, so if his is 4 inches wide, he should have 4 inches from port at least, but i may be wrong.

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

Depends on the size of the port and how far away it really is. A lot of times you can tinker with the distance and gain some low-end output.
