iKidwell Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Ugh, if you really want a 50 just tune near your car's peak and throw the power at your subs c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

iKidwell Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Then tune low, numbers aren't all that important if that's what you want..a 145 @35 hz is a lot more impressive than a 150@ 55 c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

Boon Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 IMO those amps aren't fit to anchor a boat with. They make shitty power @ 12v, go really weird if you drop the voltage below about 12.5v, and the machining on the heatsink will slice the hell out of your hands which to me is the icing on the crap-cake. But that's just me. 10.x volts fo' life!
fecupe2001 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 my ss 4K it´s pretty nice for daily, takes ton of abuse but i´m with Boon on this one, this amps aren´t that strong unless you have great voltage for them, only reason i have a 4K laying around it´s because i bought for 350$ I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
