Guest Posted February 14, 2011 Report Share Posted February 14, 2011 more voltage will let your amplifier output more power. so i guess i can answer this with a yes(?). what are you running that drops you to 12 volts? and more batteries wont really help. you would need a new alternator. and 4v preouts wont make your amp output more power. as far as i know, it will let you turn the gain knob down and have a little more extra "sound quality".
