RyanJ
I thought I was FOR SURE going to get the AQ2200D to power my 2 Sundown SA-12's D4, but than I realized, should I just go with an AQ1200D? I mean, SA-12's aren't like 1000 power peak each, they're 600. If I got the AQ2200D, I was just going to set the gains so it pushes out 1400 watts, and then wait till I upgrade my electrical then push out 2000-2200. Should I just get the 2200D for future use, or buy the 1200D since its cheaper. I am on a budget. Right now, I currently have 800$. RyanJ
I mean, I can get it the amp + subs, but I need to worry about electrical. Setting the gains on my amp to 1500, and use that for like .. 6 months, will that mess up my amp? hdorre
If you know what you're doing, get the 2200. If you're not COMPLETELY sure what I meant by that, get the 1200D Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

kl0wn
Settings your gains below full potential of an amp will not hurt it. If you have the money for it, go ahead and get the 2200, leaves room to upgrade later on down the road.
