Nathan @ XSpower Posted February 17, 2011 Report Share Posted February 17, 2011 I will say in the tests we have done most of the Battery Tender Plus and CTek chargers did pretty good. The thing you have to watch for though is getting a charger that has a very low amperage recharge and hooking it up to more than one battery or the very large batteries (D6500 to D3100). A lot of those chargers charge at .5amp or 1amp charges, and they will never fully charge a bank of batteries or the big batteries. They will maintain them and may have the voltage up to a fully charged rate, but it will not be a deep charge on the cells. When this happens it doesn't hurt the batteries, but they will not be able to give top performance until they are topped off with a good charge.
