Nathan @ XSpower Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 I will say in the tests we have done most of the Battery Tender Plus and CTek chargers did pretty good. The thing you have to watch for though is getting a charger that has a very low amperage recharge and hooking it up to more than one battery or the very large batteries (D6500 to D3100). A lot of those chargers charge at .5amp or 1amp charges, and they will never fully charge a bank of batteries or the big batteries. They will maintain them and may have the voltage up to a fully charged rate, but it will not be a deep charge on the cells. When this happens it doesn't hurt the batteries, but they will not be able to give top performance until they are topped off with a good charge. The XSP1012 maintainers are still in production and it will probably be mid to late summer time frame before they are available. Quote
