First off I have been looking around and realized I did my port wrong on my box, luckily Im not done with it so I can correct it before I finishe it. I took my inner port wall 2" from the back wall and my port is 3.5" wide, so I need to make my entire port wall 3.5 but not a big deal really. Also I got my amp. AQ 3500.1. Its a monster and today I picked up a 200 amp alt for my car BRAND NEW for 75.00. Yes its 200, I had it tested at the local alt shop who also builds alts. So some time this weekend Im gonna try and get my box finished up and get shit going. Pics Since were all having a moment of truth. I hate country too.. I am trying to decide if I want to mount my amp in front of my box behind the seats or if I want to build a amp rack off the back of the box and make it look like its floating. If I do the floating amp rack Im not sure how I will hide my wires. But I will sleep on it. Should all be together tomorrow aside from my second battery. I am waiting on my cold air intake to get here so I can get rid of my huge ass air box and mount my second battery in its place. Since were all having a moment of truth. I hate country too.. I had to butcher my damn box to get it on. Had to take all the corners off and beat the hell outa my trunk haha. I got it in tho. Good luck to who ever want to steel this shit haha. I used the t-nuts on the inside of the box and will be bolting the sub in with hex bolts. Still trying to come up with an idea on how to mount my amp. Was thinking about doing a floating amp rack off the back of the box but I am gonna have a hard time hiding the wires. I thought about doing a false wall and run my wires between it then out into the amp. Sounds like a lot of work haha Since were all having a moment of truth. I hate country too.. I set my gains and it the damn clipping light keeps coming on so is it possible that the clipping light could be off? It is really amazing with the gains set. I am pretty happy with it, hope I get the numbers I am looking for from it tho. Anyway here are some pics 8g speaker wire this is not going to be the permanent location for this amp, I just wanted to hear some bass, I plan to build a floating amp rack off of a false wall also was able to run this full tilt at 13.9v at 2ohm on 100amp fuse on a 40-50hrtz tone.....tried .5 ohm and got 11.9v and my amp didnt like it so I shut it down. Granted I am only running a single xs 35hour and 200amp alt. Waiting on my cold ait intake so I can run my second battery. Since were all having a moment of truth. I hate country too..
