I was not aware of ed having them before funkin. well im a funkin lover ....as many know, and that sub rite there is nothing funkin audio at all the cone might look and so may the surround, but the funkins have a stamped steel basket chromed out nothing special, and from what ive learned funkin basicly went with the cheapest cone for their entry subs and that was the flat cones... We went over this sub over at ca.com. the flatcone is not at all good for spl. the Tjoint might cause more problems.
