I like the sub = Sexyiness, But hate the noise that the subs make mechanical noise persay. It would ne nice ported and a plexi back so you could see the sub. If you put in in the box instead of inverted would it get rid of the mechanical noise?

yes it would be gone, atleast thats what James told me with his MX, i believe him also got advice from Brian Owens(guy with 4 mts in his suburban, state record holder) he agreed.

I was thinking a whole plexiglass box, like what gately audio does...

Too expensive. I have something else in mind ;) boss
