Definitely very noticable. To me it does not sound like something broken, just sounds like air moving in and out of the gap. Maybe this "plastic piece" is broken and that is why you can hear the air.

Next time you are coming toward Denton, let me know. . .I would like to hear it again.

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

brian, i spoke with david he said its just air moving in and out, its not an issue. i am going to talk with him again to get a final confirmation today. the mx was not designed to be inverted

Wait until late next week. . . .I hope to have the 40.1's installed by then :D

that is one cool lookin sub for sure :D I would have trouble deciding how to mount it though because the front looks good too :D I like the plexi idea too.....

hey what made you decide to use RCA's for wire?

lol at first when that other guy said rca wire for some reason i thought he was talking about the blue/white Knu speakerwire, because it looks a lot like their middle line rcas. then i realised he was reffering to the monkey eating plugs
