Sound damping in a sedan - critical areas

What's up ya'll

I have a ported box tuned @ 36hz facing the trunk of my 2001 Chrysler 300m. I usually have my seats down, and 42hz seems to be the loudest from cabin gain.

I already have Dynamat Xtreme covering the whole trunk, rear deck, and front doors.

Where should I use sound deadening next?

I read in one thread that it's best to do the rear doors first because it's more likely to escape there first.

I read in another thread that the roof would be a better idea.

I read in one of the same threads that the pillars would be better.

And then of course there's the floor for lower road noise.

Does anyone have any experience with sedans in that matter? Thanks for your help.

doing all the spots mentioned will be a good idea. as far as where to start thats up to you man, maybe do the back doors as they would be easyer imo.

ahh what I meant was which area to do first, because I have left over dynamat and then I'm probably gonna buy some damplifier, so since I'm spacing it out over time I wanna do the areas that are most effective/noticeable first

I'd go with the rear doors, then roof, then all the other small areas. Also maybe try weather stripping the doors (saw someone use weather stripping on their trunk to drastically reduce trunk rattle)

EDIT: floor before other small areas if road noise is loud inside the cabin and you bump a lot when ur on the highway
