zaxfire69 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Ha Ha..I wonder what there Fire Chief said after seeing this...Yeah water pressure is very powerful..I have been lifted off the ground by fire hoses several times...I weigh 210 lbs...That is Inch and 3/4 hose... Not hard to do..2 1/2 inch hose will do it very easily.. Fun part is holding on..I can hold a fire hose with 1 hand with 125-130 lbs of pressure..It is all about technique..Not strength... Quote
David Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 well I work with water everyday. I have seen a 3" steel pipe be shot out of a building and into another building from 225psi, its amazing what it can do, we have to brace our stuff with cold rolled steel straps with 2"X 1/2" grade 8 lags, I have also seen it completly rip a piece of copper pipe in half @ 300ps1, when it let go, it took out 8 2x4 trusses. water pressure is no joke.
