loudernu
I am using Torres calculator, but I am having issues with calculoating the port. I want my enclosure around 8 cubes, for my 2 15's. I am trying to get it tuned down to about 30 Hz. My outer dimensions are, 19" high, 49" wide, and 17" deep. I am trying to get as much port area as possible, but keeping it down to 30Hz, so I can move some massive amounts of air. Can anyone give me some help with a good sized port area, lxwxd? speedball1978
make it 17.5 tall 4.0 wide and 36 long
speedball1978
but this will only give you 4.91 cu ft total after displacement so you might want to go a little bigger on the box i would go 19 tall 49 wide 24 depth with 17.5 tall 6 wide and 35 long on the port
loudernu
If this is a center port, with the port bending both ways in the box, how long would each side be?
speedball1978
physical port length would be 28.25 long so you would need to bend the port at 16.5 inches and then the rest of the port will be 11.75 long
