I guess you could wire 2 subs to 1 amp, and give each additional sub its own amp..but that wouldn't be the preferred way if the subs are sharing an enclosure. And James we clamped 9k at 1.4 ohms on the pair at 10.5 volts lol Do you have any relation with Ami Creations? Anyways how do you know the aq3500.1 does more than the DC 3500 just want to know?
