Rockbrook
just like the title states, The Laptop model is Gateway MT6730, It shut down on me 3 times in about 2 hrs tonight while i was watching a video on WorldStarHipHop, It's running Windows Vista Enterprise right now, idk if thats the problem, maybe i should ugrade to Win7? When it first started doing this i thought it was because i used to lay my laptop on the bed and we all know thats not good for laptops. I've looked around in the Event Viewer but i dont know what to do with any of the "errors" it says are happening. Im stumped and fed up with this laptop, i wanna punch a hole in the screen, but i need it right now any Tech guys out there with any ideas? sprkn_ranger
It may be getting too hot. If the heat sinks on the CPU are dusty or the fans have alot of dust on them then that drastically cuts down the cooling efficiency. Rockbrook
yup, thats one thing i need to definitely try, tomorrow im gonna grab a can of air and try to air this thing out, maybe dust is just clogging up my cpu fans and whatnot.
