I gotta try that, because my remote sure dont work thru 5% tint well that was one of our thinking for going this way, windows will be getting tinted 5% all round at some point, originally we had the whole head unit on a fly lead outside the car, that works alright for burps etc, but seriously didn't work for daily demos etc... and it's messy! i wasn't about to build a full podium as thats even less useful! so my mate Jay, who's been a huge part of this build came up with the idea of having the spare face on the fly lead... if i'm at a comp burping from outside the car, the face reaches out perfectly, but in the car i can either swap the other face back on in seconds, or still using the extended face it's still nice and easy to use, and neat too...
