Woofersetc.com used to sell them but I just looked for a link and I couldn't find them. There are plenty of people that have them for sale so I guess you'll need to do some detective work. I will keep a lookout in the meantime. I can tell you they sell for 200 a pair and you will need to find a compression driver and adapter to use them. They start to roll off at ~16k. They only need 30-60 watts and get ridiculously loud. You'll need at least an 8" to keep up with them. I use a 10" in my doors but it is a poly cone not paper. This is important because the speed is different between the materials. I am switching to a 12" pa midbass soon to fix that problem. I am also adding some 10" sealed back midrange in the kick panels and one in the dash along with a Fountek ribbon as a center channel this winter. Are they a tremendous pain in the ass to tune and mount? Yes. Are they expensive? Oh fo' sho. Are they worth it? Absolutely... 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle

I am thinking it's a starter but I can't be sure until I get it looked at until Monday. I haven't had my expedition for a month either due to a wiring/transmission issue. Kevin M Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 I have power. The lights work but the windows will not go up or down. Engine won't turn over. I even tried the old hammer to the starter trick and it sounded like it wanted to start but just wouldn't crank. I think the battery might be dead too. I have a couple kinetiks I can swap out the factory batt for. I should have done it a while ago (20/20 hindsight).but I think that is only part of the problem. Kevin M Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 I found the problem. A couple smart cookies pointed me to a couple fuses that should be checked. Here is a picture of the culprit. 3 dollar fuse cost me an 80 dollar tow. I could blame myself for not checking them but until I talked to a few people about the problem I would have never known it was a fuse. It is for the ignition/battery. This is one of two in the system. It explains why I couldn't roll the windows up either. I am borrowing a friends car after they get off work to get some fuses and I should be up and running by suppah time. lol Video to follow. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
