BeAlLsTaR13
whats voltage dropp now that its at 100%? what are you wired to and did you clamp yet? voltage when driving with no subs on is 14.8-15.0 depending on how high my volume on the 4 chan is, everything off heat, hu, beat, ect driving im about 15.1, i cold start around 15.3, that'll change when weather gets warmer as for clamping, have not yet but i should be able to soon my gfs step dad has a clamp meter and im wired to .47 (.5) however, on another note, i got my volt meter mounted finally, and started the resin on my box, i also put mat in the corners to help strengthen it, so thats sitting now so in a few hours i can sand it and shit, let it sit over night and throw the woofers back in tomorrow or tuesday, prolly tuesday pics: volt meter: and for box: woofers out: now ima just say this now, this was the messiest shit i ever worked with lmao edit: i took the pics before i finished it off, made sure there werent clumps/lumps of resin all over so it was a smooth coating Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
BeAlLsTaR13
Well here were my three problems i had for the setup, upon installation vid will be later but running into 3 current issues 1 - ground noise that i cant seem to get rid of or find the cause of. It sounds like the same exact sound the blinkers make when they are on 2 - voltage issues, might be a loose connection (im hoping). My voltage at full tilt is usually 13.2-13.4, after i shut the beat down and continue to drive it goes to like 13.6, even lower when i stop at lights, but if i turn beat up again it'll go down to 13.1 or whatever, then spike up to 14.0-13.9 3 - My head unit and amps shut off when playing, just the headunit and amps shut off, nothing else in the car electrically 1 and 3 were related. The issue was a loose/bad ground for the headunit its self. I have since used the stock ground from the harness and it doesnt shut off + no ground noise - Fixed 2 is still unknown but has not been at fault yet and my voltage is great. I think it may have been a wire grounding out or something along those lines, one of my big three cables was touching part of the alt the way it was ran, i since moved it incase it was the issue, so i am hoping that was it - Possibly Fixed when i can get my hands on 4 more 1/0 ring terms my plan is to re-do my big three anyway and clean it up, along with everything under the hood.
