It's about an hour east of New Orleans or about 3 hours south of Jackson, MS. (side note, my high school is the same one Brett Favre went to. We're from the same area.) I was actually there a couple weeks ago doing a 17 mile hike along the battlefield, it's not too far, about 3 hours.
