I'm going to make a mold of one section of the door and then build a pod skeleton off of that. So lets go for it! Masking off the door Just resin first to get the basic mold to build off of. Laying out the fiberglass mat scheme. Adding fibergalss mat and more resin for strength. Man it was messy! Tell me what you guys think Tonight I will probably try to pop the mold off. And then I was going to wait to paint them because the doors are going to be the same color so Im going to paint them at one time. But really the pods didnt turn out exactly how I wanted. The line to trim All trimmed up. Looking good It was really nerve racking but everything came out fine. Still have the other door to trim up. I also didn't cut out the hole for the door handle. Then it's time to build the skeleton. Plus I like playing around with this new computer. It's so much faster! I can actually watch stuff in HD now!
