ch0sen
ok, guys this is my first ported box, so i'm just going by what i've learned on here mostly, i have 4 12 inch audiobahns wired down to 2 ohm to run off my audiopipe 1500d, i've had the subs for a while now and just decided to build a box for them since the one they came in won't fit in the trunk I'm trying to get the tuning around the 34 hz mark, but i'm not to picky, with the subs facing up i'm having a little trouble with the box tuner, but anyways, heres my first ever google sketchup and torres tuner so you guys can see what i need to fix, one thing i'm pretty sure of is my low port area per foot, but for these cheap subs idk what it should be anyways here are the subs http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33657_Audiobahn-AW1251J.html i have the SE version, but their pretty close, mine are only rated for 400 rms though (doubt they could take it anyways) here what i have now sorry, i can't seem to make the pictures bigger Quote My current 95 Jetta Build w/ pioneer h/u 2 RD Sonance 10's with flatwind coils 2 Audiopipe apsm 1500.1s 1 Hifonics Brutus Elite 60x4 1 XS d925 1 Stinger spv35 1 1000 amp lead acid 50 ft of 0/1 ofc from Audiotechnix all powerbass components, and coaxils, 4 sets buildlog = http://www.stevemead...2-rd-10s-build/ My build for my wife. http://www.stevemead...01-f-150-build/
chevyhoe08
# of common port walls should be 3. your port area number should be somewhere between your port area range. ch0sen
i think mazda and i decided to do the port to the rear, or toward the cabin, but whichever way it won't be facing up, would i still need to bend it one way or another you think? with 36 inchs wide i should have room to run my 6 inch port pretty much to the back with the subs outta the way right?
