i think its more important for splzx3 to tell me the name of that chick in his avatar

but it does sound like a lose/bad ground issue more than anything, or an incorrect ohm load, do you have a mulitmeter?

it was a piece of metal that was real thin, i was using it for a quick ground think this is the source of all my problems? I never did move my ground upon reinstalling everything and it would play good and i would ride down the rode and it literally sounded like my subs were knocking trying to get out of the trunk.

did u clean the area u grouned with sandpaper make make use all the paint was gone?

or did u use a seat belt bolt 2 ground ur amp

it was a piece of metal behind the rear seat, and no i didnt sand it down.

end of thread sand it down to bare metal problem solved

how thick is said piece of metal? it better be pretty damn thick (not some P.O.S sheet metal) if you want an efficient ground. and every ground (or anything electrical for that matter) you ever install for anything MUST have no paint or corrosion blocking the two pieces of metal from touching each other so they could be as conductive as possible.

make sure your speaker wires to your amp terminals arent touching or sticking out and touching another.

if the ground is not your problem you could have some internals on the amp shorting out when you drive down the road from vibrations just a guess though
