link to my build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/102676-rogers-chevy/page__p__1425005__fromsearch__1#entry1425005 some stuff has changed my subs are rd heavyweights dual 2 ohm 18's sub amps are 2 digital design m4as strapped at .5 ohm everything else is the same. i did a sealed run at one show mic on windshield only pulled a 150.5 usaci run today in the mod 2001-4000 class did a 155.5 but one amp protected for some strange reason. after that run i did my 156.9 all scores were done at 40 htz and usaci runs were outlaw spl

so i went to 2 shows today, and i beat my old score. i did a 156.9 at 40htz followed by a 156.5 at 40 htz here are some pics, enjoy.

i have 2 18 rd audio heavyweights custom built and 2 dd m4a's in a blowthrough

so i went to a comp today and i got first place in my power class and also i was the loudest of the day. my first spl run i did a 155.9 second spl run i squeezed a 156.0 out of it. not to bad for 2 -18s

nice to see you went with the coils, good choice in my own opinion. i think you are going to be very happy when its done bud. going to compete tomorrow wish me luck

i would have to say drop it first that lexus sounds pretty damn good stock and the apperance you will give it after the drop will be worth it in my opinion buddy

i would run it positive to positve and negative to negative on the sub which will give you a 1ohm load and the run it to the amp if your amp is stable at 1ohm

has there been any updates as to when this might be available yet steve, been doing alot of changes on my truck and one of these would be real handy right about now bro lol

well ive already had 3 different designs starting with 4 12s ending up with 2 18s and now im going 4 18s my issue is all about getting louder and still being a daily ground pounder, so long story short getting your box right the first time is very important

i know what you mean, im going through the same thing and i have already been through the trial and error part lol, still cant decide what i want to do

i am also trying to figure out a design for a band pass blow though, im thinking a 6th order for mine vs a 4th order but both are good with your 12s that design might be really good

just watched steves 10 minute long video on this product, very good information and good job on showing us how it works. sign me up i will for sure buy one when they are available, and thanks for offering such a great little tool

if the ground is not your problem you could have some internals on the amp shorting out when you drive down the road from vibrations just a guess though

before you spend a shit tone of money start with something that has not been mentioned like the fuel filter, its common that no one ever changes them and with fuel being restricted you can lose fuel milage and your throttle respones and add the fuel injection cleaner. on the pcv thing your motor wont sound like a rattle snake lmao the pcv will sound that way if it is good and you remove it and shake it around if there is no noise then its bad.these are some easy and cheap things to start with and i would bet it fixes your problems
