TeamHT
Lol, not how a woofer blows, lol Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Guest
check the resistance of the woofer with a multimeter. it should read somewhere between 3 and 5 ohms. if thats fine, try new rca cables. TeamHT
I would also check RCAs and headunit. What was the gain set to and subsonic? Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Do you think the amp could be toasty? i highly doubt the amp is broken. because 1, the amp is barely even trying to output power to that woofer. and 2, the power light is on. im running a stock HU with a line out converter and the gain was a quarter up subsonic around 34Hz. check the connections on the LOC. Thanks turn the knob to ohms, or the omega sign (google it). if its auto-ranging it wont have any numbers to choose from. if it does, turn the knob to the number that is closest to 4, its generally 20.
