RooTxBeeR Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 Ok well, I recently found out a lot more about car audio, and that to have a system you not only need all the speakers and power, but stuff to power them efficiently. I found out that alternators and batteries even more can become a pretty penny. So since all this happened I got to rethinking my future build, and would like to steer more onto the quality side of audio than hey lets get loud. I also know that GOOD SQ is even a Finer penny to get, but I am not looking for things like focal, But more of the lesser end of the high end SQ brands. I know RF is very good in their products, and was wondering if their are any brands that are above them in the sound quality department. I know RF is around $200+ for component sets, and was thinking of spending maybe more than that. My only problem is I really can't seem to find any brands that are like that. Edit: also, I know that SQ enthusiasts, like AB amps since they are more clearer. Does anyone know of any amps that can power a Fi-Q 15" well. Another question, i know Mechman has some good alts, but I only saw a 270 Amp alternator on his website, And I will only be using 1 battery some I am sure I will not need that much. does anyone know how any alt companies that make one that can run a battery that would support a 1kw+ system?
