anthonyott99
Ok guys, i need some help with decisions on rear deck speakers. What should i put in the rear deck ? Is it best suited for mid-bass, like some free-airs, or should i do some nice full range coax 6.5s back there ???? Or maybe a pair of 6.5 coax's and a single 8 or 10 inch free-air in the middle ??? Or maybe i should just go with something like this ; pic from antwan911's Dodge neon rear deck build log; http://www.stevemead...neon-rear-deck/
bumonskateboard6
Doing IB setups with trunk decks is difficult because you're going to want to try to seal it off as much as possible to make the trunk be your "box". I'd say start with some 6x9's in the deck and do some research on some IB subs. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

Yeah, i do not want to seal off my trunk space, but if i used 2 small free-air subs and 2 -6.5 coax's i wouldnt need to have a sealed off area for the free-airs would i ??? bumonskateboard6
Even if you use 2 free air subs you're going to want to sound deaden the trunk a lot and keep your back seats up to separate the area that the sub is in from the cabin. skittlesRgood
i would do some killer midbass speakers. leave midrange to the front stage. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
