I get that slight coil smell after few minutes . It's beautiful . I put a old ass pioneer 6x9 playing hood run down without a subsonic filter and no filters running. I put it to fill tilt playing hood run down, still havent blown them to a stop but its blown alright. give pioneer the + for having a speaker that just wont die. I took 2 of my dads stock truck speakers, we just replaced them the other day.
