RAM_Designs
What were the specs for your previous boxes, and what exactly are you wanting to improve on(mainly low-end?)? This will help us point you in the right direction as far as box specs go. Also, how did you have the sub/port aiming in the Jeep? Sammitch0
40width / 30 depth / 20 height max dimensions 1st box : didn account for port area being 12-16 per sq ft sooo my tuning as like in the 40's. 2nd box : messed up 2nd baffle and has a gap between it losing tuning and air, so I need to rebuild IVe spent about $150 building these boxes and dont want to waste anymore money. I want this one to be perfect Quote Grand Cherokee Team Backwoods Bumpers DC 15" Level 3's /w 4 Coils Pioneer deh4200ub Pioneer 3-ways Pioneer Tweeters Pioneer GM-D9500F Audiopipe 1500.1D @ 14.4v Clarion Equalizer Knuconeptz Kollosus 0ga Knuconpetz Kollosus 4ga Coming Soon: 270xp / xs1200
RAM_Designs
Well if you were tuned that high you were most certainly lacking on the low notes, correct? Just by eyeballing those t/s that sub is going to want something like 6ft^3 tuned to 28-32hz depending on what balance of lows/output you're after. Sammitch0
I can but my amps are installed on the side of my jeep in the back taking up about 5 inches. So 41" would be cutting it EXTREMELY close, I have a 40" width box that almost touched the amps and scraped against one of them, i'd like to keep it below 40" width if at all possible. I dont think 41 will work. and also Yeah I was looking 6cft @ 32hz that was the sweet spot. But I wanted like 14-16sq inches of port per cft. Also I would like to keep SOME highs so I dont want to go below 32hz. but I dont want to be above 35hz.
