Depends on how the ribbon was broke, I was able to fix a ribbon on one of my DMP1's but it was broke at the end where the connection to the board was. Took a little time and a steady hand to solder it up but it worked. I use a RFX9400 and I am putting a RFX9300 in my wife's vehicle.
