those meters look pretty nice, but why did you choose to switch from the colorful stinger volt meters?

Thanks for checkin it out!

That's a very good question. Why would I go from nice $30 Stinger meters to these $6 China meters?

Well, it's because of how bright the Stinger's are, and the fact that they didn't work above 16v.

These are much easier on the eyes at night, and I like how they go to the hundredth, instead of to the tenth.

oh I understand, I figured it's because they were too bright, i've seen a lot of people complaining about that and the bass knob lights being too bright haha.

what about accuracy? how do the compare to the stinger or a DMM?

They are actually very accurate. I set them with a dmm, and they are morre accurate than the Stingers

Yeah that was the main thing, I hated how bright they were

Excellent fab work. Its cool that you execute smaller projects/details to make this build unique. Keep it up and I'll keep watching.

Thank you sir! If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right! :drinks:

So I started on the center console today. First thing I did was to cut out spots for the 2 switches I have to relocate from the new meter rack

Then a lil body filler in the bad spots

Then some wet sanding

Then some primer

Then some black paint for the e brake handle

Then some paint

Are they always on or did you wire them to the ignition. Looking at buying the same ones. What are they? Ebay? and how did you wire them??? thanks!

I wired mine up using relays, so that they would only come on when the ignition is on. That's the only bad part about them, no remote wire.

But you can use a relay to turn it on and off, and it works just fine. Yes eBay $5.99 china FTW!
