Purplehaze
Any updates or changes? Hey, nothing new to report, I have been working like a mad man, putting in around 12-16 hours a day. But I have been planning and saving, and hopefully sometime this summer I will be upgrading! Purplehaze
Hey guys, nothing really new to update here. Everything is still as it was, and still working flawlessly. The main changes coming are in my plans. I have decided to add a single 18" and attempt to build a two-part wall, w/ the 18 in the bottom - bandpass style, and the two 12's up top, normal port. I am saving now, and realistically hope to have everything I need to do the wall sometime before winter. Oh yeah, and I am doing that BEFORE I do any cosmetic upgrades to the car. Bass first, everything else can wait! Anyway, I am running for SOTM this month, since it is specifically for people w/2500 watts or less. So, all votes are greatly appreciated! Purplehaze
Are you thinking of A solo X18? I love mine man. Anyway, Good luck on SOTM. Thanks. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, w/maybe a SAZ 4500 or DC5K to power it, something like that. I'm putting back $ for that anyway, I guess nothing is in stone till I buy it, huh? Purplehaze
Well, I did a little bit of work today. Thanks to lowpt, I am now ready to start my doors. I have decided to do 4 component sets, w/ all 8 speakers going in the front doors. Each door will hold four 6.5" speakers, and one tweeter. The other tweets will be on the pillars (a & and on the dash. So it all starts w/ makin some sawdust! I love it! My first speaker ring, aint she pretty! TEST FIT!!! That is NOT the speaker I am using!!! Let's make some more! More to come! Stay tuned!!! lowpt
Holy Shit!! To support the weight you may need to attach the mdf panel to the door itself and not the plastic panel as I have. I will be watching this one!!
