whats a good pair of 6x9 that can easily take 100 rms daily looking for full range but something that can knock to. there gona be in a rear deck of a neon with a fiberglass baffle behind them not sure what size yet will be built to w.e the 6x9s will do best in

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

I have the kicker KS6930, rated at 100 rms. Remember if you send 100rms at low tones like anything below 60 hz you will destroy the surrounds very quickly, unless you have some kind of pressure to keep the cone from moving to much, even though most speakers are designed for free air, if you put a baffle behind it you will be much better off, my 3 way kickers sound really really nice!

Cadence cvlw69 are some tough 6x9s, rated at 100-150 continuous i believe, i actually ran about 200 to them with no trouble for months, i decided to upgrade to more sq oriented 6x9s though and then next build im going all round speakers

and the driver that replaced the cvlw69 i think is called cvls69 can handle same power, but its a 3way instead of just plain 6x9s

i'll throw up the Cadence 6x9s as well... their CVL gear is loud as hell and happily handle what ever power you throw at them (within reason obviously) whilst still sounding rather good...

i'm running the CVL 6x9s as my front stage atm, and i'm telling you they LOVE the abuse!!
