1.34 Ohms

Ok guys i have 3 jl w3 10"s dual 2 ohm voice coil woofers which im planning on powering by a Cadence TXA-1000d which is rated at 1000 watts Rms @1 ohm

using rockford fosgates woofer wizard i figured out how to wire the subs to 1.34 ohm load. My question is will the 1.34 ohm load damage my amp? i mean i am reletivlely new to car audio and this might sound retarded to u experts here but i just don't want to fry my amp. thanks ahead of time for the input

It will be fine. You may not get the 1000wrms power tho since you will be running the amp at 1.34 ohms.

What does your amp produce at 2 ohms? you for sure will get the rms wattage produced at 2 ohms, and a bit more. Im guess around 920+wrms at 1.34 ohms.

The lower the ohm the amp is ran at the more power/watts the amp will produce. Most amps are not stable below 1 ohm tho, but you dont have to worry about that.

its only 650 watts rms @2 ohms ... thats what i thought but i wanted to be safe. Much appreciated man!

Amp will be fine - I'm guessing you will be looking at 7-850 wrms off that amp at 1.3 ohms....
