cougarxc2
As the thread title says, I'm looking to put 2 subs that will slap decently in a very small ported enclosure. The enclosure is going under the seats of my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, hence the small internal volume. I've heard only 8's and 10's would possibly work. I'm looking to feed these subs about 1000-1500 RMS daily. Anyone have any suggestions for some subs? I've been looking at almost everything on here, but I can't seem to decide. Thanks for all your help if you reply Quote '05 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI Flowmaster 10 Series SI/DO Audio- Kenwood KDC-X994 Hertz Dieci 6x9 up front Hertz Dieci 6.5 in the rear More soon (hopefully)... DannyV18
If the mounting depth lets you, i suggest two SA-8's.

mylows10
Call Dd ask them to build you some 1010s with extra spiders might work for you. Just depends on the box size. I recommend. Raising the back seat up 4 inches then build your box Edited March 16, 2011 by mylows10 Quote dc 12k 2 ascendant mayhem 12s xs power 200 amp alt 2 odyessy pc 2150 dc audio 175 x 4 scosche wires stinger inter connects 12 volt customs 175 amp alt pioneer avhp 4100 dvd arc audio eq cdt 6.5 components 152.8 db drag street c http://www.dcsoundlab.com/ //www.dcsoundlab.com/images/header.jpg
DannyV18
There is nothing wrong with giving two SA-8's 1000 watts. Is there a law somewhere that i missed seeing?

mylows10
Problem is box area. Don't think you'll get a very good sound from good woofers in that small of a box. Hence raise the seat. It can be done and still keep the back below the resr window. Then there is alot of room for a nice box. DannyV18
That's why i said if mounting depth allows. Two 8's don't need >2.00 ft3.
